Covered Bridge Run/Walk raises $19,000
ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. – The Covered Bridge 5K Run/3K Walk, held June 9, raised more than $19,000 .
Proceeds will benefit the Sycamore Shoals Hospital Foundation and will be used to purchase cardiac monitors for the hospital’s Chest Pain Center. The monitors will allow for continuous cardiac monitoring and are considered the gold standard for chest pain patients.
“I deeply appreciate the community and businesses for their support,” said Dwayne Taylor, CEO of SSH. “Sycamore Shoals Hospital Foundation has been working hard to raise funds for the Chest Pain Center and these dollars will go a long way toward making the center a reality.”
