Lundquist joins Integrated Solutions Health Network
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – Integrated Solutions Health Network (ISHN) has appointed Dr. Tom Lundquist as chief clinical integration officer (CCIO) for ISHN and president/CEO of AnewCare Collaborative.
ISHN formed the CrestPoint Health insurance company and AnewCare Collaborative, the region’s first community-based accountable care organization, in 2012. The company decided that it required a CCIO who is gifted at managing integration initiatives while fostering healthy relationships between patients, physicians, hospitals, health care providers, payors and the people of the community it serves.
Lundquist has spent more than 14 years leading frontline health care operations, integrated health care delivery systems, large hospital networks, managed care networks and staff model HMOs. He previously served as vice president of Performance Measurement and Improvement at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee (BCBST), where he spearheaded several important integration and standardization initiatives, such as BCBST’s Center for Health System Innovation.
Lundquist received his medical degree at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and his master’s at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz School of Public Policy & Management. He is a fellow of the American College of Physician Executives, a certified physician executive by The Certifying Commission in Medical Management and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
He is a board member of the Health Information Partnership for Tennessee, and serves on the Tennessee Initiative for Perinatal Quality Care and the Tennessee Center for Patient Safety Advisory Boards. He serves as adjunct faculty at Carnegie Mellon, where he teaches classes on Health Care Quality & Executive Leadership.
