From testing to treatment to recovery, The Center for Cardiovascular Health provides comprehensive and compassionate care for cardiac patients.
Staying at the forefront of cardiac treatment, our mission is to substantially reduce cardiovascular disease, while providing excellent medical care for our patients. With cardiovascular disease as the number one cause of death in the United States, The Center for Cardiovascular Health was created to diagnose, treat and rehabilitate children and adults while meeting their physical and emotional needs. Our focus is in three critical areas: education, early intervention and a technologically sophisticated facility with expert cardiologists and vascular specialists.
The Center for Cardiovascular Health is designed for patient convenience. Patients may park close to the entrance, and all testing and treatment is performed in the center. Each patient is assigned to an interdisciplinary team of dedicated personnel. Under the expert direction of cardiologists, radiologists, vascular and cardiothoracic surgeons, the center provides diagnostic testing and therapeutic treatments. Selected Team Members include cardiovascular nurses, radiologic and nuclear technologists, sonographers and cardiovascular technologists. Others on the team may be exercise physiologists, physical therapists, dietitians, social workers, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, case managers and pastoral care. Noninvasive test procedures and invasive testing procedures are conducted at The Center for Cardiovascular Health. Advanced equipment allows our cardiovascular professionals to help primary care physicians, adult and pediatric cardiologists and other specialists obtain quality information through diagnostic cardiac testing.
Following diagnosis and treatment, we continue to concentrate on prevention and rehabilitation. Individual programs, carefully monitored by cardiac rehabilitation specialists, are designed for each inpatient and outpatient.
