Why volunteer?

Demonstrate your concern for others by giving your time and talents.  You will have the opportunity to work with patients, staff, family members, and other volunteers to help provide comfort for all those who enter our doors.  make new friends and develop a great sense of purpose and appreciation of your own life.

What type of people volunteer?

Our volunteers span a large cross-section of the various communities.  Many of our volunteer family members include high school students i our summer program, college students, senior citizens, retirees, homemakers, church, civic, and business groups, and people who work in other fields but have a commitment to their community and wish to help.

Volunteers are needed seven days a week - morning, afternoon and evening

How much time do volunteers donate?

Most current volunteers give between 4 and 20 hours per week.  There is no minimum hours required but we suggest a commitment of at least 4 hours per week if possible.
