• Ambulatory Surgery
  • Deliver food trays under nurse's supervision
  • Fill water pitchers as needed
  • Get drinks, as reqeusted by nurse
  • Attend to patients special needs as directed by nurse
  • Instruct patient in use of telephone
  • Assemble admission packets
  • Organize and stock cabinets
  • Return broken equipment to designated area
  • Transport patients for discharge (with DOCUMENTED WHEELCHAIR TRAINING)
  • Assist nursing staff with telephones and call lights
  • Other tasks as assigned within realm of training
• Gift Shop
  • Become familiar with merchandise and pricing
  • Straighten and keep shop organized
  • Clean as necessary
  • Know opening & closing procedures for the shop
  • Ability to operate cash register
• Information Desk
  • Assist and direct visitors and patients to appropriate areas of the hospital
  • Answer telephones, relaying calls as indicated or providing information as requested/needed
  • Deliver cards/flowers throughout hospital
