Serve as a liaison between patients and staff, gaining feedback from patients and resolving any patient or family concerns

Greet visitors, answer phones, provide assistance with mailings, assist with preparing folders

Child-Life- (Niswonger)
Assist Child Life Specialist and nursing staff in non-direct patient care

Courtesy Cart Driver - (JCMC, FWCH-van)
Drive passenger trolley delivering visitors to and from areas of the parking lot and specified hospital locations

Gardeners- (FWCH, JCMC, Woodridge)
Assist in maintaining garden areas

Gift Shop- (FWCH, JCMC, Niswonger)
Provide customer service with a friendly demeanor to anyone entering the shop, straighten and keep shop clean, assist in completing sales

Imaging Waiting Area - (Med Tech park)
Offer coffee and assistance to those in waiting area

Information Desk- (JCMC, Niswonger, SSH)
Assist and direct visitors, give out designated information by phone, answer questions, provide public relations and communication

Library Assistant - (JCMC)
Assist library staff

Music: ( All Facilities)
Assist in set up for music events, escort groups and assist as needed

Navigator - (FWCH, JCMC)
Assist patients and/or guests in finding their destinationn within the hospital

Pet Therapy - (all facilities)
Provide pet therapy services to patients with a certified pet therapy animal

Physical Therapy (OT, ST) - (Quillen)
Assist staff in non-direct patient care

Research Department - (JCMC)
Assist with clerical and other office needs

Same Day Surgery Waiting Area - (JCMC)
Welcome visitors and families to waiting area, make coffee, keep waiting area tidy, distribute newspapers, and other general assistance as needed

Sew/Knit/Crochet- Work at home making baby bears, baby caps, baby blankets, and Christmas stocking; as well as caps for cancer patients and inserts for mastectomy patients

Sort/Deliver Patient Mail - (JCMC)
Pick up mail from designated hospital area, sort and deliver mail

Special Projects - (all facilities)
Filing, preparing envelopes for mailing, specials projects, etc. when contacted by Volunteer Office

Stroke Center Assistant - (JCMC)
Assist nursing staff with non-direct care for patients in the Stroke Center

Telemetry - (JCMC: W-F Days or M-F Evenings)
Deliver telemetry strips to designated areas

Wellness Center- welcome customers at entrance, hand out towels, help keep towels tidy, office assistance and help with special events
