Newly named MSHA Community/Government Relations manager will focus on multiple counties

Jill Rhea Grayson of Johnson City has been named Manager in the Mountain States Health Alliance Department of Community and Government Relations. Her responsibilities will extend to Washington, Carter and Unicoi counties.

Grayson joins the Mountain States team after serving in the district office of U.S. Senator Bob Corker as Director of Constituent Services. She is a 1999 graduate of East Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health/Child and Family Services.

At Mountain States, Grayson will have major responsibility for the system’s grassroots advocacy and government relations activities in the three counties. She will also organize and participate in community activities to build support for Mountain States’ mission and goals.

Grayson is temporarily located at the MSHA Market Street Center while a permanent office is refurbished.

Grayson serves on the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation as well as the Golf Committee for Mountain States Foundation’s annual tournament for Niswonger Children’s Hospital. From 2001-07, she served as chairman of the Department of Children’s Services Foster Care Review Board.
