Wings Air Rescue

TO REQUEST A FLIGHT CALL 1-800-WINGS-01
Wings Air Rescue provides aeromedical transportation of critically ill and/or injured patients. Through our skilled team members, performance excellence is achieved and patient outcomes.
Wings Air Rescue is the first aeromedical service in the state of Tennessee to have all crew members equipped and trained with Night Vision Binoculars.
Wings IV was opened for operations December 31, 2007. Within hours our first patient mission was underway. This mission was from our base at Smyth County Community Hospital in Marion VA to Johnson City Medical Center.
The addition of this base has extended the reach, and brought more critical care and rapid transportation, to the rural areas of Southwest VA, WV, NC and provides additional support to the Wings fleet. The crew configuration and aircraft are a mirror image of the other 3 bases. Since the opening of the base we have completed hundreds of safe patient missions carrying on the traditions and standards of Wings Air Rescue.
Wings Air Rescue Flight Operations was designated as this region's Regional Medical Communication Center.
