The comfort of your home may be the one thing you want when you don't feel well. Mountain States HomeCare provides caring professional home care services for adults and senior citizens in the upper East Tennessee region in their homes, in their own family surroundings.

Home care can shorten a lengthy hospital stay, eliminate the need for a nursing home, manage a medical condition or newly ordered medication, or serve as an alternative to hospitalization. The health care team comes to patients in the privacy and comfort of their homes 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Our Services

Mountain States HomeCare provides a full range of services for patients who are under the continuing care of a physician; unable to leave home without the assistance of others or a wheelchair, walker or cane; and patients who require skilled care for a long term illness.

RN/Care Manager

Each patient is assigned a registered nurse (RN) care manager who works with the physician to follow and direct the patient's care for the duration of home care service.

Skilled Nursing

Nursing professionals are experienced and highly specialized.  Services provided include medication management, disease management, wound care, and other procedures ordered by the physician.

Enterostomal Therapy Nursing

A certified enterostomal therapy nurse provides, directs and evaluates care to patients with wounds and ostomy patients, those undergoing continent diversions and patients with nephrostomy and gastrostomy tubes.

Certified Home Health Aides

Certified home health aides assist with activities such as bathing, shaving, oral care, personal grooming and dressing.
