Benefits of working with a personal trainer

Improvements, goal attainment, variety, and discipline are just some of the benefits of having your own professional trainer. Whether your goals are recreational, health related, or competitive in nature our professional trainers will provide the motivation to get you there.

The structured, consistent regimen your trainer prescribes will keep you focused and result in optimum improvements in minimal time. While our professional trainers educate and prepare you to perform your workouts on your own, the personal attention and motivation can be so gratifying that you schedule workouts with your trainer on a regular basis.

Furthermore, your personal trainer will keep records in order to chart improvements in strength, endurance, or weight loss. In addition, unsupervised workouts become more meaningful when you are accountable for workouts away from your trainer.

What Makes Our Trainers Unique?

All of our professional trainers must have an exercise science related degree from an accredited university, a current CPR certification, and hold one of the following fitness professional certifications:

First Appointment

Baseline measurement may include resting heart rate, blood pressure, flexibility, height, weight, circumferences, body composition, and program design. Sports specific clientele will require more sophisticated testing and will be at the discretion of the trainer

Getting Started - The Wellness Center

So what are you waiting for? If you are interested in scheduling a personal training session or finding out more information, please stop by the reception desk or speak to one of our exercise professionals to find out how to get started. 

Client/Personal Trainer Agreement

Training sessions will begin promptly at the time agreed upon by the client and trainer.  Please be on time in order to make full use of the training session.  A single training session is limited to a maximum of sixty minutes.

All forms, including health history, consent, physician’s recommendations (if applicable), physical therapy guidelines, and client/trainer agreement must be completed and/or signed prior to the commencement of the personal training program.

Clients more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled training session will be charged for the full session.

Please provide twenty-four hours notice if you need to cancel an appointment.  Cancellation occurring less than 24 hours in advance will incur a charge equivalent to the scheduled session.

We offer convenient payment methods including cash, check, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express).  Payment for personal training sessions must be made in full prior to any scheduled session(s).

Your personal trainer is responsible for being prepared for each training session, being on time, and providing the necessary coaching to keep you motivated and help you set realistic and obtainable goals.
