Need Assistance Navigating the Health Insurance Marketplace?
We Can Help!

On October 1, 2013, the online Health Insurance Marketplace, sometimes referred to as the “exchange”, was launched.  The Marketplace allows individuals, families, and small businesses to compare and purchase insurance plans offered in their area.  Marketplace enrollment can be done online, by phone (1-800-318-2596) or with in-person assistance with a trained, Marketplace-certified representative to help you find the plan that best fits your needs.

You may wish to visit the Marketplace to review options if:

  • You do not have insurance
  • think you will qualify for Medicaid
  • You feel underinsured or your current insurance is not affordable
Health insurance plans may cover the cost of care at the health care provider of your choice.  In some cases, based on income, an individual or family may qualify for federally funded subsidies to cover monthly premiums to reduce out-of-pocket expenses.

Open Enrollment period is from October 1, 2013 until March 31, 2014.
You can apply online anytime at
healthcare.gov/marketplace or call 800-318-2596.  A local Marketplace-certified counselor is available to assist you at the following locations:
