Senior Life Solutions is a program dedicated to addressing the emotional and behavioral health of adults over the age of 65. Through a combination of therapies, education and wellness programs, Senior Life Solutions assists older adults in developing living skills that help them cope with problems that may accompany aging.

How to Get Help

Through an initial screening and assessment process, our staff will work with patients to determine the most appropriate treatment for each individual and his or her family. Admission assessments are free and confidential. Referrals may come from:

  • Self
  • Primary care physician
  • Specialist
  • Family member
  • Friend
  • Church
  • Community group
  • Any other concerned person
  • Nursing facility
  • Residential care facility

Caring Professionals

Senior Life Solutions' experienced, licensed and credentialed professionals apply a team approach to treatment, offering comprehensive mental/physical assessments, individualized treatment and education plans for each patient.

These professionals are trained to deal with the unique concerns of older adults:

  • Psychiatrist
  • Primary care physicians
  • Nursing staff
  • Social workers
  • Dietitians
  • Physical and occupational therapists

If we determine that our program lacks the appropriate expertise or resources to treat a patient, we will work with the patient and family to find other resources and services to best meet their needs.

The word "psyche" comes from the ancient Greek for "butterfly" or "soul." The term "psychiatry" was coined in 1808, and literally means the "medical treatment of the mind."
