Norton Community Hospital (NCH),located in Norton, Virginia, in the heart of Southwest Virginia and the Appalachian Mountains, is a not-for-profit, 129-bed, acute-care facility that has been serving Southwest Virginia and Southeastern Kentucky since 1949. It is the largest healthcare facility in the coalfield region. NCH was the first AOA (American Osteopathic Association) accredited teaching facility in the state of Virginia, and hosts residents in Internal Medicine. The hospital operates several primary care clinics throughout the region.
