Activity Therapy

Activity therapy, also known as recreational therapy, allows patients to explore their creativity as a complement to their psychiatric care. The activities therapist assesses the patient’s personal interests and helps provide structured, therapeutic activities that promote socialization, physical activity and self-interest. Activities include arts and crafts, recreational activities in the gym, music, pet therapy and other group and individual activities.
