Smyth County Community Hospital History
Nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia's southwest corner, Smyth County Community Hospital has a 40-plus year history of providing quality healthcare services. We are a 50-bed, acute care, community-based hospital located in Marion. In addition to the hospital we have a 109 bed nursing care facility on our campus that offers both skilled nursing care and nursing care - Francis Marion Manor Health & Rehabilitation. We have a variety of outreach programs including Homecare.
The hospital has modern equipment including a full body spiral Siemens CT Scanner; also available along with an excellent outpatient and inpatient surgery unit.
As a not-for-profit hospital, all of our net income is invested in improving healthcare in the community. With a strong commitment to quality patient care and a heritage of service, Smyth County Community Hospital continues to meet the healthcare needs of Smyth and the adjoining counties.
