Outpatient Rehabilitative Services at Smyth County Community Hospital

Smyth County Community Hospital’s Mountain States Rehabilitation Department provides skilled, professional physical therapy services. In addition to standard physical therapy, we also offer a Spine Clinic and a Brace Clinic.

The Spine Clinic provides comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with a variety of spinal disorders. A treatment plan is individualized to meet each patient’s specific functional needs and rehabilitation goals. The treatment outcome is monitored to ensure quality care, patient satisfaction and cost-effectiveness.

The Brace Clinic is held the second and fourth Thursday of each month on a first-come, first-served basis. Hours usually run from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Inpatients and outpatients are seen at this clinic. The clinic itself is free of charge; however, our orthotist/prosthetist charges fees for service.
