What is OWL and how will it benefit me?

The Online Wellness Link (OWL) is an online tool developed by Mountain States Health Alliance (MSHA) to provide better access to patient healthcare information.

By subscribing to OWL, you will have the benefit of accessing an important document called the Continuity of Care Document (CCD).  When you click on the CCD, a summary of your hospital visit will be displayed.  This summary will include:

  • Certain laboratory/radiology reports
    • Some laboratory/radiology reports will not be released to the portal due to their sensitive nature
  • Reason for admission
  • Recent medical history
  • Current medications
  • Allergies and adverse reactions
  • Immunizations
  • Discharge Instructions

By using this summary you and your physician will be able to make quicker and more informed healthcare decisions.

If you need additional information, please click the Frequently Asked Questions – Patients link on the left of the screen.
