How to Ace ACLS Course

The How to Ace Advanced Cardiac Life Support Course is designed for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of a patient, whether in the hospital or pre-hospital setting, and are new to the concepts of critical care. This course will enhance your knowledge in the treatment of arrest and peri-arrest patients through active participation in a series of lectures over cardiopulmonary cases. Concepts covered include:

  • Identification and treatment of medical conditions that place a patient at risk for cardiac arrest
  • Basic Life Support Primary Survey (C-A-B)
  • ACLS Algorithms (Pulseless Arrest, Bradycardia, Tachycardia, Acute Coronary Syndromes, Suspected Stroke and Basic Life Support)
  • Effective resuscitation team dynamics
  • Return of Spontaneous Circulation
