The Spruce Unit, located inside Woodridge Hospital, and New Leaf Senior Care at Sycamore Shoals Hospital offer outstanding inpatient psychiatric care to clients 55 and older. These services bring loving care to you and your family in a healing environment, while treating some of the following conditions:
- Depression
- Sudden onset of confusion or disorientation not related to medical complications
- Early stages of Alzheimer's/dementia
- Anxiety
- Substance abuse
- Psychosis
Treatment Experience
The Treatment Team will work with you to develop an individualized plan to meet your emotional, behavioral and physical needs. The plan that you help us create is then used to help you return to your highest level of independence.
One of our goals at both facilities is to keep your family actively involved. We do this by including them in requested family sessions, family education and scheduled visitation.
