Intensive Outpatient Program

Mountain States Health Alliance brings comprehensive behavioral health services to those in need. MSHA's Intensive Outpatient Program offers mental health and substance abuse services in a safe, confidential and professional manner.

Often, regular outpatient treatment is not enough. Intensive support and focused treatment may help an individual get back on track. We offer a combination of psychotherapy, education, medication management and group therapy.

Outpatient Psychiatric Treatment

The Intensive Outpatient Program is designed for individuals who are in need of therapy more frequently than that provided in traditional outpatient services, or for individuals transitioning out of inpatient care. Groups are provided three times per week for three hours at a time and focus on practical skills. Groups usually meet for six to eight weeks. The treatment team will develop a therapeutic plan in partnership with the patient.

Addiction Recovery Services

Addiction Recovery provides treatment to individuals who have significant problems with alcohol, drugs or other addictions. The treatment philosophy embraces abstinence and the 12-Step Recovery Model. It also focuses on meeting the needs of individuals through education and the development of healthy coping skills.
