Why Healing?
The Healing Arts Program is designed with the purpose of providing art materials for our patients to use each time they visit us for treatment.
Our mission is to provide our patients with experiences that are healing to the mind, body and spirit. We believe the act and process of creating can be life-affirming, serve as an escape or distraction, and reduce stress and anxiety.

- Provides an opportunity to regain feeling of control when life is feeling out of control

Art packs are located in our supply cabinet where they are convenient and available to our patients during each visit and are available upon request. Patient artwork is theirs to keep, display in the center or to donate. We respect your artwork as both personal and private and what you do with it after completion is completely your choice.
Volunteers
We have volunteers who will assist you with your art supplies. These volu nteers are also trained to answer any questions you may have. Please ask one of our volunteers to get your art pack when you come to the center for treatment.
Our volunteers wear red or blue vests to make them easier to identify. If you have any additional questions, please ask any of our staff. We are excited to offer this service to you and hope that making art enhances your journey toward hope and healing.
