Anthony Palazzo, MD

Dr. Palazzo earned a medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. He completed a general surgery residency at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, La., and a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Upon completion of his cardiothoracic fellowship, Dr. Palazzo practiced in Shreveport in a private practice, and as an assistant professor of surgery at Louisiana State University. He was also involved with basic science research, investigating cardiac ischemia-reperfusion, and has had several articles published in various periodicals. Dr. Palazzo is a member of the American Medical Association, the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is board-certified in thoracic surgery.


Charles Raudat, DO, FACS, FCCP

Dr. Raudat’s primary cardiac surgery interest is aortic valvular disease.  He also specializes in thoracic oncology, diseases of the chest and esophageal pathology and has extensive experience in vascular surgery, including peripheral artery disease, carotid arteries and endovascular management of aortic aneurysms.

He is board certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, and is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Medical Association and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. Dr. Raudat earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, and completed his residency at Fairview General Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. He also completed a fellowship at University of Missouri Hospitals and Clinics in Columbia, Mo.

As a physician, his goal is to provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care through a collaborative team approach, and to be compassionate and honest with his patients and their families. In his personal life, Dr. Raudat enjoys sailing, cooking and spending time with his wife and four children.
